# GitBook migration

## GitBook synchronization

This GitBook synchronizes with the following GitHub repository **nft-dao-genesis** :

{% embed url="<https://github.com/stephen-rowan/nft-dao-genesis>" %}

> Priority has been given to the public GitHub source repository **nft-dao-genesis** so that anyone can fork it and create their own GitBook from this source.

## Forking a GitHub repository

A guide to forking a GitHub repository can be found by following the link below :

{% embed url="<https://docs.github.com/en/github/getting-started-with-github/fork-a-repo>" %}

Once you have forked the **nft-dao-genesis** repository you can create your own GitBook project from the copy that now lives on your own GitHub profile.

## Setup a GitBook account

Follow the instructions on setting up a GitBook account below :

{% embed url="<https://docs.gitbook.com/getting-started/start-exploring>" %}

## Synchronize your GitHub repository with GitBook

✋ Before you begin to synchronize your GitHub repository with your GitBook ensure that your copy (fork) of **nft-dao-genesis** is saved under the "master" branch (GitBook currently only recognizes this branch name by default).

Then follow the instructions for integrating your GitBook with GitHub below :

{% embed url="<https://docs.gitbook.com/integrations/github>" %}

... and you will have your own copy of this GitBook.
